Vintage Hedge Shears No 19 Comet by True Temper Wood Handle Garden Clippers USA

Vintage No. 19 Comet by True Temper hedge shears with original wood handles, red ferrules, and surviving factory handle graphic. Cleaned, lightly sharpened, lightly de-rusted, then finished with oil and wax, with the honest age and working character preserved.
Detailed description
A handsome pair of vintage hedge shears marked No. 19 Comet by True Temper, with turned wood handles, red ferrules, and a surviving original handle graphic that still presents well. This is a solid old American garden tool with great display appeal, but it is also still a usable hand shear for light trimming and collection use.
These shears were cleaned and lightly sharpened, with surface rust addressed and the original look preserved rather than over-restored. The wood handles were lightly cleaned and finished with oil and wax. The blades show dark aged patina and sharpening evidence consistent with age and careful use. Edge contact is good, and there are no edge chips noted.
A nice piece for a vintage garden tool collection, potting shed display, farmhouse decor, or practical hand-tool use. A printed care sheet is included with all tools.
Ships carefully packed. Blade tips will be protected for shipment.
