The shears have been cleaned, sharpened, oiled with Ballistol, and protected with paste wax. They still function well, with good blade registration and no edge chips noted during restoration. The steel shows honest age, patina, and dark staining consistent with use, and the paint shows normal wear from service. A printed care sheet is included with the tool.
