Vintage AMES Miracle manual grass shears with red painted metal handles, working spring action, and surviving original blade label. Cleaned, sharpened, oiled with Ballistol, waxed, and ready for display or light garden use.

Detailed description

A marked vintage pair of AMES Miracle manual grass shears, made in the U.S.A., with red painted metal handles and a nice surviving blade label. The shoulder is marked MIRACLE U.S.A., and the blade label reads AMES / MIRACLE / 23-062(2). The shears were cleaned, sharpened, oiled with Ballistol, and protected with paste wax. The remaining deteriorated grip was removed, so this pair now presents with bare painted metal handles. Blade contact remains good and the tool is still functioning well.

This pair shows honest age and use. The steel retains dark patina, staining, and scattered pitting, with some heavier oxidation visible on one blade face. Paint wear is present throughout the handles and frame. The blade label is worn but still readable and adds nice original character. A printed care sheet is included with the tool.

Good for light trimming, garden shed display, or a vintage tool collection.

Condition

Used vintage condition. Cleaned and lightly restored for function and presentation. Paint wear, patina, oxidation, pitting, and age staining remain visible. One deteriorated grip was removed, so the handles are now bare painted metal. Label is worn but still present. Functional at time of listing.
