Detailed description
Vintage Eagle thumb oiler / oil can with flexible spout and embossed EAGLE and MADE IN USA markings. This is a compact gravity-feed thumb oiler with a long flexible spout, useful for bench display, machinist or garage décor, or careful light-duty use in a vintage tool collection.
This example retains its original copper-colored finish with expected wear at high points and edges, especially around the cap, spout coils, and lower rim. The interior was notably clean, the threaded top works smoothly, and the oiler dispenses properly. No leaks were observed during inspection. One section of the bottom rim is slightly out of round, visible from the underside, but it is minor and does not define the piece visually from normal display angles.
Restoration was intentionally light to preserve original character. The exterior was cleaned with mineral spirits, the interior was flushed to remove unknown old oil residue, then the can was allowed to dry fully. A very light protective oil coat was applied and the exterior was finished with paste wax, then buffed back to a satin sheen.
