Wood Handle Plumber Wrench, Antique Shop Decor, Restored USA Hand Tool

Vintage 14-inch Erie Tool Works Stillson-pattern pipe wrench with original wood handle, cleaned and stabilized while preserving its dark working patina. The Erie Tool Works marking is faint but visible, the jaws adjust smoothly, and the handle has been repaired, oiled, and waxed for display or light shop use.
Detailed description
This is a vintage 14-inch Stillson-pattern pipe wrench made by Erie Tool Works. It has the classic adjustable Stillson jaw design, a knurled adjustment nut, steel frame, and original wood handle.
The maker mark is faint but visible on the handle/frame area. The wrench is also marked 14 on the head, indicating the nominal size.
This tool was cleaned and preserved rather than polished bright. The metal was brushed, cleaned with WD-40 and 3M pad work, wiped with mineral spirits, treated with mineral oil, and protected with paste wax. The adjustment threads were lubricated with Hoppes oil. The wood handle was stabilized with thin CA glue, sanded to 220 grit, treated with boiled linseed oil, and finished with beeswax.
Condition is good vintage working condition with honest wear from age and use. The jaws show wear but still have defined teeth. The metal has age-darkened patina, scratches, small dings, oxidation staining, and areas of light pitting. The original wood handle has a stabilized lengthwise age crack and visible old wear, which gives it a strong period look. Please review all photos closely.
This would make a good display piece for a workshop, garage, plumber’s office, industrial decor wall, or vintage tool collection. It may also be suitable for light-duty use, but it should be treated as an older collectible hand tool rather than a modern daily-use wrench.
A printed vintage tool care sheet is included with this wrench.
