Vintage Bluebird 010 Tin Snips – Forged U.S.A. – Cleaned, Sharpened, Cuts Clean

Vintage Bluebird No. 010 tin snips, forged and made in the USA. These are solid, traditional sheet-metal snips with the correct shear geometry — not decorative, not thinned, and not over-restored.

They’ve been carefully cleaned, lightly sharpened, and tested. They cut clean and evenly along the entire blade length, including the tips.

Original blue finish remains with honest wear from decades of use. No cracks, no chips, no repairs, and no structural issues.

This is a working vintage shop tool, ready to go back to work or into a collection.

Condition & Restoration Details

Cleaned using 3M pads and mineral oil
Edges refreshed with sandpaper and stones only (no aggressive grinding)
Pivot and blades lubricated with Ballistol
Protected with paste wax (dry, non-greasy finish)
Test cut on cardboard after restoration – clean, even cut
