Restored vintage Disston D-7 panel saw – 26” crosscut blade (10 ppi), smooth action and comfortable handle, ideal for layout, shop work, or display.

Tool Overview

This is a vintage Disston D-7 hand saw, likely mid-20th century, with a 26” plate and ~10 points per inch (ppi) crosscut tooth geometry. It’s been fully cleaned, sharpened, and preserved to function as a reliable shop saw—ideal for layout cuts, general crosscutting, or as a reference saw for marking accurate kerfs.

The original Disston medallion and hardware are intact, and the etched logo is still visible beneath a stable patina. The handle, likely beech, has been cleaned and hand-finished with oil and wax to restore comfort and grip without erasing age or character.
