Restored vintage Millers Falls No. 90B hand plane with original wood tote and knob, red frog, and partial surviving side lettering. Cleaned, tuned, sharpened, and ready for use or display, with honest age wear and original character intact.

Detailed description

Vintage Millers Falls No. 90B bench plane, made in the USA, restored for use while preserving its original mid-century character. This plane retains its original wood tote and front knob, red-painted frog, black japanned body, and partial surviving side color fill reading “Millers Falls No 90B.”

This example was cleaned, disassembled, tuned, and reassembled using my standard plane restoration procedure. Light oxidation and grime were removed, the iron was sharpened, and the plane was adjusted for use. The tote was tightened during reassembly and the tote screw was shortened slightly so the handle seats securely. The body shows expected cosmetic wear, scattered staining, and finish loss consistent with age and use. The wood retains visible dings and handling marks. The side lettering remains partially visible. Please review photos closely for condition and finish details.

A good choice for woodworking use, shop display, cabin decor, or as a gift for a woodworker or tool collector. This plane will ship carefully packed and includes my printed care sheet.
