Vintage Stanley Bailey No. 4 bench plane, restored as a usable user-grade smoother with original character left intact. The plane was cleaned, tuned, sharpened, and test-planed. The lever cap has dark aged patina and older pitting from past rust removal rather than active rust. The tote and knob are intact with finish wear and handling marks from age and use. A printed care sheet is included with the plane.

This is a restored user-grade tool, not a mint collector example. The sole and sides show typical age and peppering, the wood shows finish wear and small losses, and the japanning remains partially intact. The iron was sharpened and a small edge nick was corrected during restoration. Please review all photos carefully for condition details.
