Detailed description
Offered here is a vintage J.P. Danielson pipe wrench marked J.P. Danielson Co. Inc., Jamestown, N.Y. The wrench retains its wood handle and classic stillson-style form, with a compact size that displays well and still has good visual presence. Based on the company mark, this is best represented as 1920s, possibly into the early 1930s. 
This wrench has been cleaned and preserved rather than heavily refinished. Old residue was removed from the jaws, surface rust and grime were reduced by hand, the mechanism was lubricated, the handle was treated with BLO, and protective wax was applied. The teeth remain well defined, the wrench has full travel, and the adjustment is smooth. Visible age, staining, peppering, and honest wear remain, which fits the tool well. No replaced handle noted. The care sheet included with your shop’s tools should be called out here as included with purchase.
