Vintage Kester Radio Solder Tin with Original Solder & Booklet (1924) – Advertising Collectible

Vintage Kester Rosin-Core Radio Solder tin with original solder coil and original instruction booklet, dating to the 1920s radio era. A great small advertising/display piece for a workshop, radio bench, office, or collection, cleaned lightly and preserved without over-restoration. Printed care sheet included.

Detailed description

Small vintage Kester Radio Solder tin with original contents, including the solder coil and the original folding booklet/manual. The lid shows a 1924 copyright. This is an original early radio-repair advertising collectible, not a reproduction.

Condition is honest vintage condition with age wear, edge wear, scattered oxidation, finish loss inside, and light staining/creasing to the booklet. The top graphics are still strong and the sidewall text remains readable around the tin. The booklet is present and displays well, with age toning and handling wear. The solder remains in the tin and is included as-found as part of the collectible.

Restoration performed was intentionally minimal: loose dust removed, surfaces lightly cleaned, and the exterior given a very light preservation wax to stabilize and protect the finish without making it look glossy or overdone. No aggressive polishing. No paper treatment. Interior oxidation and age wear were left in place to preserve originality.

Ideal for display in a workshop, soldering/radio collection, cabinet of advertising tins, or as a small industrial decor piece. Because of age, I am selling it primarily as a collectible/display item rather than guaranteed modern-use solder.
